Bicester Heritage Day

There's another Bicester Heritage Day on Sunday 28th April. Arrive in or on a pre 1990 'classic' and it'll cost approx £7 to get in per person. On foot or by car then it's around £11 per person. As far as I'm concerned this is still one of the best value car events you'll find.
If you get the slightest enjoyment from looking at classic cars then you should really try and get to this event. All of the onsite workshops and car sales open their doors and that's plus all the cars that turn up.
Here's a few pics from when I went 2 - 3 years ago. This event usually is only open for approx 5 hours (I haven't checked times) and I'd suggest allowing all that time to properly look round as the site is huge

Guzzi Cafe Racer

Fabio in Italy contacted quite a while back for some advice - He was building a Cafe Racer inspired by a old build of mine from 2010 - and now it's finished.
Here's a couple of pics including a pic of my bike that gave him a few ideas

Guzzi 1100 Sport inj Cafe Racer

Chris came and picked up his rolling chassis on Friday with everything else left for him to do. It was a 'on the road' running ongoing project but he's now got to improve on the wiring. He also wants to fit some wire wheels at some point. Some very nice little detail touches catch the eye and a lot of nicely machined titanium nuts and bolts

What a turnaround.

I took my engine cases to the vapour blasters that I use last Thursday at nearly midday and got a text message at 9 am the next morning to say that they were ready for collection.
