A couple of months back I sold a Cali 1100 frame to a chap in Poland. His friend who regularly travels to the UK in his van delivering and collecting goods picked it up.

After yesterday seeing this very poignant video for a track from Bowie's last and final album I can't help but post it up here. I could say more,but I think it speaks for itself.

Very Sad news this morning with the death of David Bowie.
  My teenage years from approx 72' were totally taken up with Bowie and I was still buying and enjoying his albums into the 80's.

   Just over this last couple of years I have been watching  again and again the Bowie documentaries that have been repeated a number of times on tv.

Moto Guzzi mk I Le Man

I came across this on Ebay this morning and it's always good to see one in a less common colour than the red / black  - as good as it looks. I have always liked the ice blue colour scheme too.
   Many many years ago I bought a full set of  le man bodywork in white and black which the seller said had originated from South Africa.
    Anyway,this is for sale in the South of France with a starting bid of £11,000,but I just like this particular pic

 

Moto Guzzi 950

Some pic updates of the Non Cafe Racer build that I'm putting together which seems to be working in terms of some sort of style...........what that style is actually called I've no idea ?
    The petrol tank I had modified some 3 - 4 years ago so it'll be good to see it when it's painted .
  I was going to fit standard T3 / Spada side panels with alloy grills, but think I'll go with Cali II items as they seem to give it a slightly more sporty look.........??
   The exhaust system is only loosely bolted on to see how it looks and think something along these lines will work pretty well with the overall look.

Cutting a seat shape.........

    I bought the block of cheap foam just to shape out a rough idea ready for a professional seat recoverer to do it properly. It will also have a thin fibreglass base to glue it to and then screwed to the Le man mudguard unit in the same way as the original.
