Norton Cafe Racer Day - Sunday September 16th

The Oxfordshire branch of the Norton Owners Club is once again putting on their Cafe Racer Day. This year it's held at the Red Lion, Cassington, Oxfordshire  which is just a minute off of the A40.
   It's open to all though I imagine the display area (usually the pub's large rear garden) will be reserved for Cafe Racers - any make etc. The organisers are very welcoming and the roads to the location can be very pleasant  from most directions...........well they are from Bristol at least!
   Officially it starts at 11am as I imagine that they don't want  to upset the local villagers

Nailsea Bike Show 2018

It'll soon be the Nailsea Bike Show again and although quite a small show it gets more popular each year with visitors coming and going all day long. Nailsea is a small town just a few miles outside of Bristol. Fingers crossed for some decent weather!

Bristol Bike Show - this Saturday - 18th August

A very good show with usually a wide variety of bikes - Classics - Customs and everything inbetween set in the very pleaant St Nicholas market area of the city centre. Coffee shops and pubs in abundance as well many 'foods from around the world' served up by vendors in the market area itself.

Guzzi project

It's been on my mind for a few months now and the other day I started to throw a load of parts together that I've been collecting for many years. Had no plan at the time, but just bought what I liked the look of at reasonable prices knowing that they'd come in handy one day. Now I'm quite keen to get on with it as I'm liking the way it looks
