Guzzi frame Re-paint

I got one Guzzi project frame back from the powder coaters last Tuesday - finished in Metallic Black,with satin black fittings - and on Thursday got it bolted in place on the engine/gearbox.
  The other projects frame, that I picked up on Thursday evening is going to stay wrapped in it's cling film for at least a couple more weeks.

Robert  in Scotland bought my friend Pete's old  - bit of mongrel - 950 Guzzi to use  for weekends away in the Scottish countryside.
   Robert sent through some pics of one of his other bikes a mk I le mans on the South West Coast and Mull.

Moto Guzzi Cafe Racer .................SOLD !!

My Cafe Racer has gone to a good new home in Leicester, which is just 21 miles from my home city of Coventry.
   John,the new owner,had had a short ride on it when he first came to look at it and rode it home the 120 mls+ home yesterday miraculously missing any of the recent rain.
  He replied to my email - checking that he'd got back ok - saying that "the bike didn't miss a beat and went better than he'd imagined it would" ........words that I was very happy to hear!
   I had some frustrating minor problems with that bike,but thoroughly enjoyed it every time out for a ride
