These pics are from the event a few of us went to back towards the end of September at Bicester Heritage Centre which is just north of the City of Oxford.
It's a old Bomber Command base which makes a great location for such a day with companies utilising some of the old buildings for Classic Car restoration,Car Care, Sales and Storage etc.
I believe that most of the cars parked outside belonged to the days visitors with others parked inside or near to the workshops were the businesses.

Guzzi Cafe Racer up For Sale
Finally decided that the Guzzi has got to go - I know it's the wrong time of year to try and sell - as I can't justify keeping it any longer,as much as it'll be much missed. It's not perfect, but it's got bags of character, looks pretty good (I think so anyway) goes really well and just gives me a good feeling ridin' it. It's a pain on my hands and wrists around town, which I guess is more to do with my age than anything, but get it out on the open road and it's a pleasure.
It's on Ebay for 7 days (from yesterday).........it was supposed to be for 10,but I had some problem listing it and then it changed without me noticing it etc etc

Lapping in valves
I've bought a second hand, but unused Eezilap from Ebay a week or so ago though not sure when I'll get to try it out as Mark's engine is all together and one of my own projects engine is also all assembled. Hopefully if it works well it'll take the hand
/ wrist ache out of the more difficult, usually pitted, exhaust valve seats.

Moto Guzzi Cafe Racer project
I got my s/s exhaust balance section back last week. It had to be altered slightly due to a clearance problem with the foot brake lever. Hopefully now when I am happy that everything fits well I can finally start moving the project on checking where all of the electrical items are going and then start de-lugging the frame etc.
Today I moved the bike out from the corner it was stuck in and put it somewhere that I can actually work on it. I love the rear view that it now presented so couldn't resist taking some photo's.
